The Common X Analog Brewing
Analog Brewing
From the brainchild of two experienced and seasoned veterans in the Brewing scene, Bryan Launier and Adam Corsaut, Analog Brewing has only been around since 2018, yet seen a meteoric rise in the Albertan Craft Brewing scene.
With a combined passion for video games and brews, in a scene where Arcade Bars and Board Game Cafes are seeing an increase, the Edmonton-based Analog Brewing takes its pallet for good beer and age-old video games and turns that nerdiness into something for the kids and adults inside us.
In celebration of the 20 year anniversary of Foosh, sister company to The Common, Analog Brewing created a New England IPA as dope as the store. With a can featuring the likes of owners Justin Der, Rob Clarke, and Pat Zubiri as 8-bit video game characters with sentiments like “Drop Beats, Not Bombs,” the beer salutes the 20 years of style and class that Foosh has brought in day-in and day-out to the streets of Edmonton, while also paying it back to the streets that have carried them too.
As the leaves turn yellow and the people turn in to get cozy, the need for that special blend of summer sprinkle to winter warmth is a must for all seasonal beer lovers. The Common and Analog Brewing felt there was nothing more suiting than a Pumpkin Spiced Latte beer.
This Pumpkin Spiced Latte Beer is a crushable 6% with notes of spice, cinnamon, and coffee. Brewing is a process of patience and it takes weeks to have the beer ferment and be ready to tap, but this Thursday Sept 26th we will be launching the Coach Gano’s Extreme Cage Brawler Fight Milk Blonde Ale just in time for those cozy weekday visits to The Common.
The Common team learned just how much thought it takes to produce a fantastic beer; it’s a process of detail, fresh ingredients, and an understanding of what type of love, care, and dedication a beer needs to stand out. But the fun didn’t stop there. While the beer fermented, The Common and Analog Brewing’s date wasn’t done just yet.
The railcar is an Edmonton summer staple and even with the summer coming to a close and the Autumn opening up, there are still plenty of opportunities to attend a beautiful Railcar Cask event. This past railcar saw Analog Brewing and The Common team up to bring an extra fruitful cask on. For those who love their hops and fruits, this past Cask was called Tropico - a fresh take on Analog’s already loved Milkshake IPA. Along for the ride was the always-peppy co-owner Bryan Launier, co-owner of The Common and Foosh Rob Clarke, and the wonderful staff involved with The Common - Kelsey, Clare, Kevin, and Ryan.
So, as the air gets crisp, the days get shorter and the beer gets darker, come get cozy with us and The Common and Analog Brewing’s Coach Gano’s Extreme Cage Brawler Fight Milk Blonde Ale.
Our next railcar is October 17th with Blindman Brewing!
